How we can help

Case studies

Finding insights in hard-to-find places.

From raw data to reports in record time

A full Scope 1, 2, and 3 inventory built to audit standard in weeks.

301,387 tCO₂e. Inventory scope · Scopes 1, 2, and 3 · CSRD and SB 253 aligned

A global organization needed a complete greenhouse gas inventory and Inventory Management Plan that would satisfy both CSRD and California SB 253, with activity data spread across business units and incomplete in places. We built the full Scope 1, 2, and 3 inventory and the management plan documenting it, at the level of evidence an assurance provider expects, in a matter of weeks rather than the usual two to three quarters.

The same build then powered abatement prioritization across the company's physical sites, using local renewable energy certificate prices to determine which sites to decarbonize first and at what cost per metric ton, so capital goes where a dollar cuts the most carbon.

Private equity buyer

A climate-exposed acquisition priced before the bid.

+$13.3M. Funded value plan identified inside the diligence window

A deal team was underwriting a target whose climate exposure sat outside the model, described qualitatively and argued over. We translated that exposure into a financial range the team could underwrite, then priced a funded plan to reduce it, with public incentives and tax credits identified to help pay for the work.

The result changed what the buyer was willing to pay and what they committed to in the first year of ownership.

Global entertainment company

Two disclosure regimes prepared from one assurance-ready build.

19,000 tCO₂e. Supply-chain reductions identified and externally assured

CSRD and California SB 253 and SB 261 arrived on overlapping timelines with different scopes, and there was no single source of truth. We ran the gap assessment against the current ESRS text and the SB 253 and SB 261 requirements together, then drafted the disclosures from one governed dataset rather than standing up multiple parallel reporting exercises.

The same build carried into supply-chain work, where custom analysis identified 19,000 tCO₂e of reductions that cleared external assurance, alongside more than $10M in annual operating savings.
