Case studies
Accelerating social change and the leaders behind it.
Workforce development program
A workforce program finance could not value, priced on two ledgers.
2.21x. Benefit-cost ratio, community ledger, after the counterfactual discount
A long-running training program had strong internal support and no number attached to it, which meant it was re-argued every budget cycle. We built the benefit stack from operating data, applied a research-backed counterfactual discount rather than claiming full credit, and priced the business value separately in plain cash flow.
Corporate impact fund
An impact fund built as its own legal entity, with an allocation approach to match.
$80M. Raised · $40M under management · 400+ organizations supported
A global company wanted to put capital behind social outcomes without running the money through a marketing budget. We structured the fund as a separate legal entity, defined the investment approach and the diligence standard, and set the allocation logic across clean energy, learning technology, behavioral and civic interventions, and large-scale environmental restoration.
Business value measurement
Built the business case for a positive-design framework and toolkit.
$28M. Probability-weighted annual savings
We worked with a nonprofit and a large company to identify the negative impacts of inaction in the value chain. We were able to price what a probability-weighted adjustment would save the company, with minimal changes to operations.
